I liked Radio Caroline & Laser 558

Radio Caroline used to be a famous Pirate (Broadcasting illegally) radio station that was based from a ship to avoid being caught.

I think from the news recently that it's been relaunched (In both senses).

you just answered it.www.radio Caroline .com [ live on stream.] back in 1965-1969 ran supplies to the ship in Thames estuary.

Radio Caroline that is going back a while .

The boat still anchored at sea not far from the coast and is used as a beacon.
I remember listening to the broadcast when I lived in Belgium.

Used to listen to radio caroline when i was younger in the 60s brilliant

Radio Caroline broadcast from the ship Mi Amigo which sunk on march 20th 1980.
I used to listen to Kenny Everett and Tony Blackburn back in the 60s.
The pirate radio stations were the reason Radio one and two appeared.
Back in those days there was no music station apart from Radio Luxemburg on 208 meters medium wave. You had to struggle to hear it through the interferance.

Lazer 558 was awesome in it's day, music, music and more music. Shame about being on MW, but that's the only way to get such wide RF coverage........

before the pirates it used to be Radio Luxembourg

i didnt know they were still going ! im a bit out of touch
