Car radio what the???!
Question: for no reason at all my car radio just starts to scan and re tunes it's self why is this, just started doing it

you may find water,rain as got under your aerial giving it a bad earth, or that this only happens ever now and then, it could be something else is messing with the signal to your stereo

The sensors in the radio are shot. You need a new radio.

The airwaves have so many signals in them that they interfere sometimes between them. The radio senses tat there is a weakening of signal and searches for an alternative. Strangely such things often happen on very clear cloudless days. My radio does the same so I would say it is doing the work it was designed to do though a little too well.
