Can you solder a broken XM radio antenna wire?!
Question: I know with my sirius radio, once it's been broken you need a new one, but my friend at work has XM and his antenna wire snapped in two. Any help or MacGyver fixes would be appreciated.

You are better off to get a new one. Sites like Amazon.com and xmfanstore.com will let you just buy an antenna.
Home Antenna- http://store.xmfanstore.com/homeantenna....
Car Antenna- http://store.xmfanstore.com/roadyant.htm...
Ebay would also have a cheap replacement.
I don't think so .The one I have plugs into the radio . You might be able to order just the antenna . They have a website .
The way the antenna and the coax are , you basically need a new one.... You can stick a wire and it'll work but to get the performance.. he needs a new antenna
