Do you listen to radio webcasts online? what and why?!

Question: i have been researching this for a few years. it seems people still prefer other ways to listen to stuff. but internet radio gets listeners... so, why are you listening? recently, i am especially interested to know if Singaporeans are listening - and is it to local or international stations. does anyone use it for news and info (talk) - or are you using it for music and entertainment?

Yes I do listen to webcasts even though I'm not in singapore.

I think it's because people want to listen to something different than what is available around them. I've found radio stations outside my local area that provide programming I want to listen to and without moving 300 miles to listen to them, I find it's easier to webcast it now.

But mainly music stations from around the US and Canada with some streams from Australia and the UK

I love internet radio and webcasts. I can tune into different stations around the world. Like Rock-it Radio :) at http://www.rockitradio.net because they have the best oldies online or on AM or FM. :)
