Any ideas on how I can hear AM radio stations on my radio? Including 96.3 FM,I h!

95.5 I love this music! Smooth Jazz,it's very comfortable on a cloudy day and at my aunty's big house in Matteson,IL which is the state I live in.

based on your description, you must be near to chicago. the reason i know this is b/c i looked up all of the christmas stations on 93.9 and there are 4 (not counting simulcasts) in the usa. Then, b/c you wrote about smooth jazz, i narrowed it to one market that is big enough to support that format - and viola chicago. The station playing xmas music is WLIT. The smooth jazz station is WNUA. 96.3 is WBBM it is a Top 40 / Hits station.100.3 is WILV and they play R&B oldies. 102.7 is in Oak Park playing hip hop and rap. 103.5 is WKSC and plays top 40 hits. 106.3 is out of Lansing and has the calls WSRB they also play rap and hip hop. and 107.5 is hip hop WGCI. FOr disney you need to turn to the AM band on yoru radio... make sure it is not near any electrical things like a computer... closer to window is good. WRDZ at 1300 AM is Radio Disney. Their transmitter is in La Grange. For sports, try 1000AM WMVP and WSCR at 670AM.
If you want to listen to AM stations, you have to change the band setting on your radio to AM, rather than FM. Look for a button marked "Band" or "AM/FM".
Where I am from FM radio has overtaken the AM.
Last hearing there are 5 fm stations here and 2 AM ones.
I am like you there are some stations I cant hear
as well as I like too.
One station I can only listen to 5 minutes at a time.
That was 6 years ago.
One of the AM stations I listen to I can only hear it if I am at home.
