Sirius Sportster 5 Satellite Radio?!
Question: i wanted to get my father the Sirius Sportster 5 Satellite Radio with car kit for christams. I was wondering if this is a good product or if it isnt. plus can i hook this up to the the portable boombox accesory?

The Sportster 5 is just like the sportster 4, but the sportster 5 has a colored screen. It's a good product, I have the sportster 4 and it is made cheap but its good. You can connect it to the Sportster boom box and other audio systems made for the unit.

I work in car audio, so I'm very familiar with the Sirius Sportster 5... It's the newest Sportster available and is the first one to go color, which is a major plus when compared to some of the other radios out there right now. It also has customizable backlighting which will match the dash it is placed on, which is kind of cool...
Overall, it's an awesome radio. I own one, I like the fact that I can record music that I hear on it and play it back whenever I feel like it. Also, It will dock itself in the boomboxes that Sirius sells for their radios.
I'd say get it! I've sold a bunch of these since they've come out and people who come back to buy accessories, such as the boombox or car/home kits are very pleased!!!
