I had sirius since '01 and I Love It!!! Customer service is great and they are always working with you, I have recommmended to all my friend and they all have joined in sirius have a few receivers that you dont even have to do any installation all you do is to tune it to the right station and that is all you have to do, also the programming is excellent.
xm radio is free on the internet. Why pay for it. IT IS FREELY ADVERTISED AS SO. Watercolors on XM is the best station.
I'd suggest both of you sit down and sample both services through their various sampling plans which are clearly explained on their websites.
I prefer XM, but tonight's majority seems to be nodding towards Sirius.
Involve your husband, especially since they differ on sports offerings. And Sirius has Howard Stern - if that's a factor.
The companies are trying to merge, so programming from both will probably soon be available on each - IF the merger goes through.
After sampling both, make your decision, and perhaps use gift cards, so he can get the receiver and service that best suits him.
