How would one get XM Satillite Radio?!

Question: Where do you get the reciever and where do you make the subscriptions?

Could you send me a link to one of the recievers you could get so I know what it looks like?

Go to Wal-mart, Target, Best Buy, etc. Buy it. Take it home. go to xmradio.com to activate it, and pay for it monthly.

Actually,no offense to the previous answer, but I'd reverse the process. Check the websites first (below). If you've already decided on XM skip the next sentence (it's for anyone else with this question). Take the online trial periods to decide which you like best. Check the receivers available on the sites and make notes of any special pricing and what gadgets they have - and what you want in your receiver.

Then go to Wal*Mart, Best Buy or Circuit City. You might also have a Brandsmart or other independent electronics store nearby that you could check out.

Make your decision and sign up! In a few months (maybe sooner) XM & Sirius might be merging, but you won't suffer for your purchase now. There'll just be more options and better pricing.

Good luck!
