XM is a lot better. I've got it and I know people who have both. XM has gotten far better reviews.

I went with Sirius strictly for the NFL broadcasts. Other than that, its pretty much a toss-up. It depends on which programming you're looking for (Howard Stern, etc).
it depends on what you are looking for content. i have sirius and im very happy with the music stations and i love the howard stern stations, not just for him but their is a lot of other great shows they run.
Also whatever service you get i wouldent go spending lots of money on equipment or a long contract because with the pending merger they really havent said how things will be when and if they are allowed to merge
