Is 98.9 still broadcasting Wendy Williams in Philly from 2 to 6pm?!
Question: Yesterday I turned to listen to her and the radio station was playing non-stop music and the same today. Did they yank her show? Usually if she is out - they play the "Best Of" shows. I found it hard to believe since she has such a huge fan base in Philly and she used to work here before.

She's still listed on the website which is a good sign. That's the first thing they do when someone leaves. She might have been sick - or more likely there may have been transmission problems from the home studio. It is unusual that they did not break in occasionally and make an announcement as to why she was not there.

I don't know about in Philly, but in Jersey we get her on 107.5 from 2-7, that's out of New York. I hadn't heard about her changing affiliate stations, maybe the station had a special or something?!
