Radio disney trouble?!

Question: i looked up the frecuency, its AM, i cant find it on my radio (i live in Lawrence KS, the station is Kansas City, KS AM 1190) and i cant get it! but isnt it supposed to be easier to get AM???? help me!!!!

Because the station is on the edge of a great signal in your area.. you will hear it but you may need a better radio.. also you will only be able to hear it during the daytime as they cut back the power of the station at night (the government tells then to)

So only during the day will you hear radio Disney on 1190am
