Sirius? Or XM?!

Question: And why?

Answers: And why?

Well i've heard of xm but never used it. but we have Sirius here at my house. Its alright, but i can never find one station that plays all my favorite songs, i have to go to various channels.

Sirius cuz i like dogs
and tony hawk radio

Neither! Try Internet radio stations...Much better selection...and its FREE!

i prefer sirius because i am a big howard stern fan. but when comparing the two, they are pretty similar. if you like sports sirius has all NFL, NBA, NASCAR games and xm has all MLB games and i think NHL. the music is essentially the same. if you are thinking about which one to buy, i would say wait as both are in the process of merging, once they get the ok from the government. its been a long process as the government is trying to determine if the merger would be considered a monopoly. if you cant wait, look at the channel lineups and determine which one suits your tastes. once they merge, you wont be losing any stations, only adding them

I would go with Sirius, for sure! I originally bought my subscription about 2 1/2 years ago so I could listen to Howard Stern. I do listen to his two channels most often, but I enjoy the other programming as well. I know a lot of people who have XM and they are planning to switch!! Sirius has a contract with the NFL and NASCAR, so that might play a role if you are a sports fan. If I were you, I would go to websites of both Sirius and XM to see what the exact offereings are, plus check the different models. I know Sirius has a portable item called the Stiletto that sounds cool, and they always have rebates out for their products. Good luck! I think you will find it impossible to listen to regular "terrestrial" radio once you have satellite!

Sirius. (Little Steven and Howard)

I thought the two were going to merge.

We rented a 2008 for a week when I had two autos at the auto doctor and it had XM

So, right now, having no recent experience with Sirius, I'd have to go with XM.

It has about everything from radio to back before WW II. The radio dramas are great ands there is more of an equal mix of neo-cons and reasonableness for people who need their thanking done for them.

I don't have either and have no plans to upgrade either of my radios. We will need to buy a car before too long and I will probably get XM.

Good luck.
