My car came with XM radio, do i have to keep it or can I switch to Sirrius?!

Question: There are adaptors you can buy like this one:

There are also websites where people show how to do it. I don't know why you would, I think XM is better than Sirius overall.

If you change the radio and subscribe to Sirius or buy a Sirius add on receiver.

Both are owned by the same company now. I spoke to customer service late last year and was told there would be news about changes coming in Jan or Feb.

They may have an easy solution by now.
