Sweet Sangria Band on WRVR radio NYC Circa 1976. Anyone remember ?!
Question: I do remember WRVR!
The Sweet Sangria Band sounds familiar, but I couldn't place it though... :-(
A Google search turned up a mention of them on Coati Mundi's myspace page. Seems he was a member:

Coati is a vibes player and was part of Kid Creole & the Coconuts and the Savannah Band in the late 70's and early 80's.
Why not write to Coati and see if he can give you more info?
