Should I get Sirius Satellite Radio?!
Question: I was thinking of getting Sirius when I get my license in a couple of weeks. My brother already has an account so I can get it monthly for $7. But I was wondering if the Sportster 5 is a good radio to get. So anyone with it can you tell me if you like or if there is a better one to get. Also does it come with every thing I need to put it in my car. Thanks

and yes, it comes with everything to install it in your car. (antenna, cig lighter plug, and dock)
I have 3 XM units, and I love it. There is not much difference between XM and Sirius.
I think you should get it... it ROCKS! We love it. We are able to down load (off the computer)... and (when you call and order), talk to a representative, and they'll tell you about all of the radio receivers available to you. It is Great, I hope you enjoy it! and Good Luck to you!
I like Sirius. The fees may change once they merge with XM.
I've had my Sirius for 2 years now (had it pro installed in my car) and I cannot live withouth it...
I have yet to hear a commercial on Sirius... the music stations do not play commercials at all.
I purchased the Sporster which is removable, and I have a system in my office (it's multi use and I can connect my Sirius or iPod to it) so I drive to work then pop in the receiver in my dock and grab it on the way out the door and put it back in my car... I absolutely am a huge fan-- and I was a BIG cynic for a while.. I thought paying for radio was absurd... Now I can't live without it...
