Radio Jingles?!

Question: Hey guys,

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this but here goes...

I'm starting a radio show rather soon and I need a couple of jingles to make it sound proper and professional. They don't need to be anything special or works of genius, just a sound that shows a change in conversation and the introduction of a new item.

I was wondering if any budding musicians out there would be willing to write me one, or offer me one if they've already been writing?

Obviously, you and your band will get full credit for this.

I don't know what kind of station you are working for, but most stations have their own jingle packs that they use on all of their shows. The main purpose of the jingle is to help with name recognition, or "branding" of that particular station. So they usually want all of their production elements to sound similar. You should check with your stations management to see if you can produce your own jingles or liners.

Well on Radio one - switch, they find bands on myspace and get them to make jingles. Not onyl are you getting a jingle but your promoting their band too.
