Set Quality for downloaded songs or radio songs?!

Question: I see how I can set the quality for CDs I rip such as from, for example, 160 to 192 but how do I set the quality rate for songs I download? I've gone through all the menus and can't find it although I think I stumbled on it a couple of days ago.

Please someone point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Most of the time you get what is available. If the song is uploaded at 192kbps, that is what you get when you download it. If you have a song that is 160, it is usless to burn it at 192. You can't create quality. If you are a really critical audiophile with a high dollar stereo you might be able to hear the difference between 160 and 192, but for the average Joe the difference is inaudible.

If you are burning MP3s it does not matter what the bit rate is because the songs are compressed so much.
