Legal experts, I need your advice?!

Question: A woman at my job said that after a complication between us I walked out of her office and said "this is ******* ridiculous under my breath". This is certainly not true and I have told my boss that. He wants me to discuss it with him tomorrow. Its my word against her word. How can I prove I did not say this? There were no witnesses.

It can be considereed verbal harrassment, all she has to do is say you did..

you can say you didn't and still have it written in your file. See if you can say "You're sorry" and see if she will let it go

If she does go to your boss, do not get excited. In the Boss's mind that mean you did it

either way best of luck
