Question: XM Satellite or Sirius Radio Signal in Guadalajara, Mexico!? !?
I used to live in Southern Mexico (in Guadalajara) and moved back to the US about a year ago!. I am missing life in Guadalajara and am thinking of heading back!. Things are just easier down there in many respects!.
Anyway though I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to get XM Satellite or Sirius Radio that far into Mexico!.!.!. I know little about Satellite Radio and have never subscribed to it, but it would be really nice to have it there in mexico, especially to get sports and talk radio in English and so fourth!.!. I've read other postings about the same basic question and they have said that XM Satellite works great in Mazatlan Mexico, which isn't too far, but I haven't seen anybody say whether or not it would work in Guadalajara!. Both should work in your area but you probably will have issues with reception that say Americans won't as you will be on the edges of the footprint

But note- Xm and Sirius is not authorized by the Mexican Government so the unit has to be billed to a US Mainland or Canadian address or they will not turn on the unit/ keep it turned on (say if your credit card shows a Mexican address now)
