How to stick acoustic foam to the wall?!
Question: How to stick acoustic foam to the wall!?
We have just bought some acoustic foam panels (1!.8 by 2 metres) and have tried to attach it to the spare room wall with double sided tape!. The foam fell off within an hour of putting it up!. Has anyone done this before successfully!? What did you use to make the foam stay on the wall!. We do not want to use nails or anything like that!. What adhesives are best!?

How thick are those panels!? Are they egg-crate shaped on the room side!?
I've seen acoustic foam go up with an adhesive that will stick to the foam and to the wall and which will destroy the wall when you want to take it down!.
Call the manufacturer (or go online) of the foam!. They will know!. Your local DIY store *might* *maybe* know!. But the adhesive will totally destroy the dry-wall or wet-plaster of your wall when you need to remove it!.
How about glueing to thin plywood and suspending the wood from the ceiling, but right on the wall (with no airspace between it and the wall -- so you don't end up with some weird slap-echo from that airspace)!.

Depending on the weight of the foam, running long strips of the tape in a vertical line down the back of the panels, about every 30 cms should work!. Maybe you didn't get wide enough tape!.
If it's your own house and you want this to be permanent, use liquid nails!.
Any good hardware store should be able to give you a solution depending on how permanent you want the foam to be, and should also be able to tell what will and won't damage the walls!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Home Depot or a store like that has adhesive in a tube you would use a caulk gun to put in on a wall then the foam panels!. Ask them at the store which type (i think there are a few to pick from) would work best for what you want to put up!. They use similar to put tile up!.
