I agree with the poster, The System was by far the best techno/dance/trance/electronica station I've ever heard!. Seriously!. Like its having a really great nightclub in your radio!. Best stuff I've heard in a long time!.!.!.!.and now it's only available through the XM website!.
Area 51 on Sirius (now Area on XM) was a poor alternative!. its like the difference between a Mercedes and a Kia!. Why pay the Mercedes price to get the Kia quality!?
Aside from that, there are other poor choices, the Latino channels have been clobbered!.!.!.!.Fuego was cut first and now the rest!? c'mon!.
I do agree that 80's on 8 wasn't as good as Big 80's, and that Chrome (XM 83) was wise to be put into 70's on 7, but seriously, some of these are silly!. Do we really need TWO stations of howard stern!? Further, since when does LISTENING to Martha Stewart help!? She makes food and decorations!.!.!.all of which need to be SEEN to be of any use!. Seriously, who here scribbles down her brownie recipe or pumpkin carving tips while driving!? (granted these require the extra service to get)
Hip Hop nation is also a joke!.!.!.The City was way better!.
I'm sorry, but while the merger between these two companies was inevitable, Sirius was great for talk, sports, news etc, but XM ruled the music side of things!.
Do we really need to hear Jimmy Buffett 24 hours a day!? All thats going to motivate people to do is get drunk and smoke weed all day long!.
And does ANYONE really NEED to hear Springsteen or AC/DC all day long!? Granted all three are accomplished artists, but!.!.!.!.I can only handle so many renditions of Back In Black!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

I was a huge fan of Backspin on Sirius playing all the old school hip hop from the 80's and early 90's!. It looks like it has disappeared!. Where can I go now to hear all those classics!?
also a while back when AC/DC took over the "Punk" channel, I was pist but they said it was only temporary while AC/DC promoted their new album then "Punk" would return!. I miss the punk channel!. They say similar songs can be heard on "Faction" but it's really not the same!.
As for the 2 Howard Stern channels, that was part of his contract since he signed on in January 2006!. Quite frankly his presence on Sirius has been very beneficial from a financial standpoint!. He is their star quarterback, love him or hate him, so it is not surprising he has 2 channels!. I don't mind excessive channels of any subject as they have plenty of channels to go around, it's just when they take something good away that screws things up!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'm an XM subscriber, and to my dismay, I found all the channels have been messed around with!. Whoever was in charge of blending in the stations and music did a really CRAPPY job!! Instead of having 4 channels of Spanish music they put it in ONE STATION!!! You can send a complaint to Siruis's website!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
