Do radio stations record all of their broadcasts?!

Question: Do radio stations record all of their broadcasts!?
And if so, how can you listen to them!?
I'm looking for a particular one in Canada!. The announcer for the station [my friend] just quit, but my other friend never got to hear her broadcasting or anything and now she wants to hear it!. I know, convenient!. So is there any way you can listen to old broadcasts!?
Thanks - almost anything helps!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Balarie is right to a point, There are stations that do record sometimes for podcasting, others the air talent records for own use later!.!. but many small mom and pop stations normally don't record as they don't have the funds for it!. Besides most of those that do record, have recordings saved more for legal reasons than for posterity and getting those would be up to the friend that left!.(as usually the tapes are reused over and over again)

Usually when an air talent leaves, all traces of the person on the station's website (including podcasts) go pretty quick as in within a day

Your friend should have an air check f/all their broadcasts, anyone who works on-air should!. That way you can listen or watch your shows and mistakes later on!. The station should have the equipment set up, so every time their broadcasting over the air, something is recording it!. That way, your friend has a "best of" recording for future air checks that they'll send out to other stations for possible future jobs!. As for your other friend, they'll either need to get in touch w/the announcer for a recording or check the station's website!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Alot of radio stations record their shows!. The later usually put them online as podcast!. Check on the website of the radio station to see if it might be there!.

Have a good day!Www@Enter-QA@Com
