Top-rated radio host Russ Martin has been fired from Live 105!.3 FM after the station changed its format to an all-sports station Monday afternoon, a CBS Radio general manager said!.
The station will now be called 105!.3 FM The Fan, centering primarily on sports talk radio, said David Henry, the station’s general manager!. Nearly all the radio hosts were retained in the format change, except for the popular Mr!. Martin!.
Mr!. Martin, no stranger to controversy during his seven-year tenure at the station, made headlines in July when he was arrested on three misdemeanor charges in connection with an argument with his girlfriend!. Those charges are still pending, said Tim Powers, Mr!. Martin’s attorney!.

I got in the car yesterday and heard that mediocre Ben & Skin show and figured they were pranking us!. After 2 days, I decided to google russ martin and found the article!. WTF Gavin and David Henry!?!!?!!?! Seriously, The Fan!. If someone wants to listen to sports talk, we have ESPN radio!. This format will not last!. I am boycotting The Fan!. It is removed from my preset!. Wherever Russ goes, I'm following!. Russ was the only reason I listened to 105!.3 as I hate top 40 radio!. There's always Lex and Terry in the morning and Best of Russ Martin CDs for afternoon drive till Russ comes back!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
I'm going to miss the shows but I did look at the ratings for the station and they were not as good as everyone thinks!. Everyone can make claims about being #1 in this or that but the ratings just were not there!.

I'm a person who literally sheds a tear when people get fired!.!.even strangers!.!.!.but I'm glad this guy was fired!. He is such a jerk!. I hadn't listened to 105!.3 since Pugs and Kelly were fired!.

I don't think he's going to join Pugs and Kelly!. I was listening to 93!.3 yesterday because they had BDH on there and all three of them had very bad things to say about him!. Now i no longer listen to 105!.3 the crap or 93!.3 the other crap!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
