What does it take to run a radio station?!
Question: What does it take to run a radio station!?
I am only 16 years old, but I'm really into music (like a lot of teenagers, I know)!. But I know a lot about what I listen to and a lot about music!. I listen to pretty much any kind of rock, but my main types are grunge and screamo!. There are literally NO screamo stations in my town and I would like to change that, I want to start a station that plays hardcore/screamo/some metal/ and regular rock as well!. Because, we have a really good music scene, especially in the hardcore/screamo area!. Anyways, I would like to start a radio station that focuses mainly on those types of rock and I know that it would go over really well, but I'm not sure what I need to do to start it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Critique aside, radio stations are huge investments that finance many research studies annually!. If these studies show that there is an audience for your music, there would be such a station on the air!. Since there isn't, it's a good indicator that the research shows there are not enough ears to make it a financial success!. Sorry, bud!.

There are none of thosw stations, because they don't make any money!. Which is what you need to run a station and have a decent signal!. Who by the way are you going to sell advertising to with that format, Good luck in the age of dwindling advertising dollars!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
