an earthly mother and an alien father. She had powers because of her dad. The theme show went kinda like this- would you like to swing on a star or carry moonbeams home in a jar would you like to swing on a star or be better of where you are.........or would you rather go to earth........ they say their relitives are chimps and apes. What show is this?

early 90's, with Maureen Flannigan (sp?), Burt Reynolds as Evie's father, and Donna Pescow. The show was called Out Of This World. The girl had the power to suspend time. Cute show.
