because peter got in trouble for that car accident last season and is basically on house arrest..where he cant do any outside activities..so he can only go to school and go home..his mother told him to stop seeing darcy..so hes sneaking around..but they were sneaking around before we found out the mom didnt want them to be dating..maybe darcy doesnt want ppl to know because it my affect her image in that friendship club she is in..because shes dating a guy like peter. hope this helps.
