I'm really new to soap operas and I saw a comercial for one and I can't remember which one it was! It said something about this girl named Star and how she's in love with some guy and their parents disaprove. I really want to know because I want to start watching it.

It's One Life To Live. Starr Manning is a teenager played by Kristen Alderson. She's had the role since 1998. And she's matured twice over since then. She's mouthy, selfish, a know-it-all, and she was raised by horrible parents (Blair Cramer and Todd Manning) who never disciplined her. She shows very little respect for anyone including her parents. She's in love (so she thinks) with a kid, Cole Saybrook. Cole is Marty Saybrooks son and she was blackmailed into marrying a creep Miles Lawrence. Marty thinks she killed Spencer, but she didnt.
