Is anyone watching Night Shift on Soapnet?

I watched it yesterday. I dvr'd it. I wasn't impressed at all. It didn't look well put together. I think the lady on the ambulance is going to be Brenda Barrett. Jason being out of jail and not with Sam looks weird. No Sonny! The police don't know who Jason is. Billy Dee acts like he's going to be doinng some kind of magic to the people on the show you know like to make all their problems go away. I will keep watching though, since its a spinoff of my favorite show. I really hope it gets better though. I couldn't even watch it all.
