Stargate The Movie & Stargate SG-1 Question.?
In Stargate The Movie they said they connected to another galaxy. According to Stargate SG-1 that didnt happen. They say that Abbidos(sp?) was closer to Earth, not in another galaxy. Also that would have took ALOT more power and a 8th chervon.
Answers:
Stargate SG-1 only used the basic idea and characters from the movie. Somethings were changed, added to or even taken out to make the storyline go where the series writers wanted it to go. The idea of having an 8th chevron wasn't brought in until the second season of SG-1.
