ok,i never really watched any episodes of one tree hill,but i came across some videos of dan and haley on youtube,they were about a father and daughter relationship.so i became interested and searched some info about the show,and some said that Dan is nathans father,who is her husband,then some said that he is her father who left her when she was young.So which is true?And if he is her father did she marry her half-brother?please explain. But Dan also has a son named Lucas,& it's his mom who Dan abandoned while she was pregnant with him (lucas) to go live a life with Nathan's mom & him (Nathan). Haley also happens to be Lucas's best friend. but no relation to the Scott family other then now being married to Nathan.And in the beginning Nathan & Lucas (half brothers) didn't get along & now they do. It's a pretty good show, you should watch. Hope that helps. O=) Dan is Haley's father in law that's it. They have shown her father before Peyton is the only one that is adopted. It is a good show you can go to http://sharetv.org to watch episodes. No they are not father and daughter! Dan is Natan's father. He is also Lucas' father though he never had anything to do with him growing up. Lucas and Haley are bestfriends and she she married now they are inlaws.
