Answers: House is still without a team (the team quit in the finale). He refuses to hire one, and his beloved guitar is stolen, and a ransom note left. He gets it back when he hires a team, according to the note. He still won't do it, and dresses the janitor up like a doctor to help him with his case.
The patient was in a building collapse, and she has a series of complications. Long story short, she wasn't the person they thought she was (due to facial swelling). She was actually a girl they thought had died the day before. At the end, House gives in, and has a bunch of candidates, who he will ultimately choose 3 from. he's in a coma now Forman quit, Chase got fired and Cameron resigned in the finale. So the premire started out with House working on his own, bouncing ideas off of anyone he could. By the end of the episode, he gave in to Cuddy and started to interview for a replacement team after he nearly killed a patient (but then again, that happens every week).
