why are the girls on shows such as the hills or newport harbor so annoyingly dumb? It's almost like they make it a point to be so dumb coz without it their fake blonde hair would be pointless.
Answers: That is why I tend to stay more on the competition side of Reality TV! I think the ones where the cameras just follow people around tend to sound and look too scripted. So I really enjoy the ones where people are competing for a prize whether it be for money or for the man/women of their dreams. A top prize always make people seem so much more interesting! That's my thoughts.....Happy Watching! Everyone says stupid stuff... they just get caught doing it on camera and that kind of stuff makes the cut for TV. First, remember that they are CAST by casting directors who hand-pick exactly the personality types they want to portray.
Then, the producers are constantly giving them direction, to get them to act a certain way.
There is very, very little "reality" in reality TV. they do it to attract the young audience,, Works, right?
