Was the 1st Price Is Right w/Drew Carey rigged?!

Question: It was almost too obvious that all 6 games produced winners and both spinoffs had $1000.00 winners. The only thing missing was a double show case winner. The 6 winning games only happened in 76 other Price is Rights in the history of the show. There were no stats on how many times the $1Ks and the 6 pricing games happened.

No. It is a crime to fix a competition or game show.

From what I hear, it was aired out of order. The show was taped later than the show that was intended to be the season premiere, but CBS might have decided since it was a perfect show, they'll air it as the premiere
looks like it was
i agree
I don't think so, if it was and people find out, they face federal fraud charges.

Hey, was Drew on downers or what? He had no personality. Makes me miss Bob even more.
Of course it wasn't rigged. It was a good show.
I think it was.
It may have been I didn't see it.
I think he came with his own built in inner tube to keep him floating above water. The Price Is Right has always been about no show- no go. He was just getting started, they probably made it easy for him to get going.
It might have been, that's pretty coincidental to happen that way.
I was a little let down, I love Drew Carey, but let's face it, he just doesn';t have the same good looks, voice, and charisma of "real" game show hosts like Bob Barker, and John O'Hurley. Maybe I will get used to him, and I can't think of a better host (besides John O'Hurley). He does have an easy laughable way about him. George Gray would have been good too, but maybe a little too offbeat.
Its hard to know. But Something was suspicious, Espeically since it was the first show. Makes you wonder.
I didn't watch the whole show. It sure would seem like it though. You know, like, hey, it's a new host after 35 yrs. Let's make the show look real appealing so it will be popular again. I don't think Drew's the right host for this show. I like him, and I loved Who's Line Is It Anyway. Maybe I'm partial to Bob after watching him since I was a kid(I'm 40). To me it seems like he just won't fit in.
What Colin said in his second paragraph is what I thought even before I found this question. (I gave him his first thumbs-up.)
I have to admitt I wondered that too....but if what Colin said is right and its a later taping than I might have lost my faith in Drew....I thought maybe he was just nervous cuase it was the first show....but I thought he was a bit drab....so if it WAS a later taping....God help us!!!
