We actually just got this new HD channel 777 (we live in NJ and have optimum) it's called Monster - all scary movies lol it kicks butt! I just saw Phantasm I & II, Halloween, Psycho, Hostel, the Grudge, Scream and so much more. AMC would be another good channel to check out local listings, I'm sure they'll have all the funny/scary classics like The Fog, The Thing and things like that. Turner will probably have marathons also.
For just pure horror films check out American Movie Classics' Monsterfest which is running through late Halloween night. Turner Classic Movies is also running horror marathons.

The "SciFi" channel is playing horror movies up until Halloween.
I think the Bravo channel is. I know they were yesterday because I watched a few movies.
