Should Dog The Bounty hunter be permanently cancelled because of the ILLEGALLY T!
Question: conversation that Dog had with his son Tucker. Tucker illegally recorded the conversation without Dog's consent, and then sold it to the National Enquire for a lot of money. Dog uses the N-word several times. I love this show, and don't want to see it cancelled, do you?

There are many ways, us fans can let the big companies know how we feel. I have personally emailed A&E (by their contact us section on their website), I have joined the discussions over there, I have voted, and I have signed the petition. I have also removed A&E from my viewing list. I also, personally, will not be frequenting LJS or Pizza Hut, as those are the only Yum Brands Inc. business locally. I have also gone to the CORE website and tried to comment there, but others must have had the same idea, as everytime I hit submit, it said the server was too busy. Im not sure if everyone heard the convo and/or saw the transcript, but Dog was speaking out of self-defense (Tuckers girlfriend was trying to record them for her personal financial gain) [self evident as Tucker actually did what she wanted] and defense of his wife Beth (Tuckers girlfriend was going to try to mess with Beth but decided to stick to 'the origional plan').
Yes the word was a societal bad word, but he spoke it TOWARDS one person in particular, and he explained what he meant when he used the word.
He has also apologized like Mr. Innis requested.
I hope Dogs lawyers get some suits going, as, with the cancellation of the show, he can prove beyond a reasonable doubt, that he will be suffering a financial loss from defamation of character, slander, etc. If I were his lawyer i'd be going after suits against Mr. Innis, Yum Brands Inc., A&E, and Tucker Chapman.
I still request that prayers go out to Tucker, as he has broke one of the 10 commandments: honor thy father and mother, and continue to pray for justice for the rest of the Chapman family and the fans who are at a loss of our favorite show.
no I dont want to see his show cancelled ,but it looks as though the jelly backbones at A&E are going to cancel it anyway . well let us see how long the station lasts without the dog . he stuck by that boy after many stays in prison and that surely says something about his being a good father . If that had been my son I would have dropped that junkie crackhead in a flat minute . and if you are going to take the dog off the air waves then you sure better take all the rap music off the air waves as well because I have heard some far worse words used in rap songs than dog used . this is america freedom of speech ,not russia . !!!
I listened to the full tape, and believe Dog said it himself, many many times. Something like " I won't risk everything I've worked for...." but no matter what the reason, he did risk everything he worked for, whether taped illegally or not. He has no one to blame but himself. He claims that the words were taken out of context. No they were not. I too am a fan of the show, but he blew it big time. Celebrities, whether they want to or not, are considered "fair game" at all times. It's not right, but it is fact.
I loved "Dog the bounty hunter" too and have even watched Duane on some of the Christian channels. And its hard to believe that is the same man that used all that hate filled language. Especially when he talks about being fair and loving your fellow man. Then he uses that hateful word. Illegally taped or not, he said it. I think it should be pu lled from the air for now.

Who exactly did this word offend (other than Tuckers girlfriend)? I recently watched a Chris Rock show and even he admitted that there is a difference between black people and ni#*#8s and he said he didn't like them! Does he get grief for this? No! It's a descriptive word of a type of person not the race of someone.
Was there up roar when people were calling Britney Spears white trash? Was that seen as a racist comment? No! But it's the same thing really.
I am pleased that the light has now been shed about who sold the tape to the media and now it's as much about what Tucker has done to his father.
It will take time but should blow over, i mean Mel Gibson is still allowed to make films etc etc!

He forgave so many people all the time. I guess A&E doesn't think the way the Dog does. I know theres nothing else to watch on that station and wouldn't turn it back to that station if there was!
I do not think that , that is any reason for it to be cancelled, it is no different than many other things on television
no it should not be pulled everyone is entitled to their own opinion. See when ppl listen to rap and they say the n word they dont think its anything. I mean I love this show and if A&E take it off the air it will lose alot of fans.

Im mad about this too. A&E doesnt have any other good shows really except Intervention (which is always a rerun). I think that he used it appropriatly if you must use it. I have many black friends and wouldnt call them the N word. But if you have no job, sit on welfare, with food stamps, cheating the system and selling drugs you are the N word weither you are black,white or polka dotted. JUST MY OPINION..
I love this show!! I do NOT think they should pull the show over this non-sense! We'll see how well this channel does without the dog!
I never liked his show anyway. I don't care if the conversation was taped illegally, private or whatever. He should know better than to use closed minded terminology. Sure, he never thought that his son would do something like that...and Tucker needs a good old-fashioned *** kicking for doing it and helping end Dog's tv career.
I just can't feel sorry for Duane Chapman, tho. A closed minded idiot is still an idiot, no matter how you slice it.
No i love that show - celebrities are human too and humans make mistakes. I wrote A&E about it and will no longer watch their network even though I watch it frequently until the show is brought back.
Dog should not be pulled and that tape was illegal. Every household and I do mean EVERY household has said something racist in the privacy of their own home. Whites talk about blacks, blacks talk about whites, and Asians talk about whites, etc. That is the fact of life.
What would they come up with your conversations at home were recorded. Reading of the gospel, I think not.
He should pay some money to a organization and make a public apology. That is it.
I love Dog's show myself, I was shocked at the tape, after all the motivational speeches he gives, why even allow that word to be said in the presence of your children , he kept saying that like it's OK....
There's no excuse for using that word , unless that's what your truly feel about that person or race...
So what his son is dating a African American Female, as long as she isn't harming him in anyway and he is happy , that's all that should matter...
People fail to realize, they are their own worst enemy, it's very clear that Dog, chooses to say that word over his career, not 1 time did he say he wouldn't say it outta respect for her or any other Black, that may be in their presence....
I don't think his show should be canceled, he should get a Chance to explain and redeem himself, but as a icon in the community and a celeb, he needs to learn how to use word's in the correct content, racism is here whether we like it or not and it's not going anywhere, we as people just have to learn to strive above the ignorance.....
