Question: So I'm addicted to the O.C now, I never watched it when it was first on...so 2 questions well 3 1. Is it out on DVD 2. How many seasons are there 3. and how close am I to the eposide where marissa dies (so I heard) last one I watched was when Julie moves into the trailer park and Kirsten offers to go into business with her...thanks

All four seasons are available on DVD. I completely agree, I love that show. I own all the seasons. I have a poster autographed by all the cast from season 1 hanging in my living room.
Marissa dies in the season finale of Season 3, so you have something like 2/3 of season 2 left, plus all of season 3.
Word of warning - after season three ends, the show gets WEIRD. The first couple episodes of season 4 are definitely not the OC you know, but it gets a little better after that.

Yes there are 4 seasons they are all out on DVD ... marissa dies the last episode on season 3. You are still awhile away from seeing marissa die.
You must be watching on SoapNet because that is where it is right now. I've seen this so many times, but keep watching it again.
I'm not sure the # of episodes, but it will be about 8-10 more shows in season three. Pay attention to the story line involving Volchuck --this leads to Marissa's death.
Enjoy the rest of this season; it gets interesting. Season 4 does get really weird and is probably why it went off the air.
