On Survivor?!
Question: Has anyone ever given up the immunity idol AND got voted off? Why won't they give it up and make themselves look good (to the jury, to Jeff, to the public) - when the others were planning their strategy to vote someone off, they don't even consider the one who won immunity - and since they're such nervous wrecks when they get to the Tribal Council that they aren't fixin' to change their minds at that point. Don't cha think?

i know what you mean! you would think someone would be the good one, to give it away and all. but i think they are all nervous because you never really know how it will play out. and i know once before someone gave up the idol, but didn't get voted off. i just can't remember who it was. i love this show! and i am so glad that james didn't go home tonight!!
I have never seen anyone give up the Idol. I thought james was going tonight
No one has ever given up the immunity necklace let alone the immunity idol.
The clsest thing that ever happened was last year when Yauman made a deal with Dreams to do just that and Dreams messed him up by not holding true to his deal.
people are always to chicken to sacrafice themselves by giving the idol to someone else, that other guy up there has a good memory, I remember when dreams did that because I was pissed about it!! It is a great show I love it and never missed one since the very first season
I do think someone gave up the immunity idol one time, but did not end up getting voted off. Don't remember who though. I don't think it happened on survivor, but it did happen on Big Brother - Marcellas was on the block and gave up the veto power to someone else and he ended up being voted out.
