Pushing Daisies...why can't Ned touch Chuck?!
Question: Ok, I missed the first episode...but I'm watching the second (i think) and I thought I heard the narrator say that if he doesn't touch someone again to make them die, within 1 minute....or is it one week....then they will stay alive, but something else has to die. So....who died because Chuck stayed alive...and why can't he touch her?? I thought the person was permanently alive!?

If he touches them it brings them back to life. He has to touch them again w/i one minute to make them dead again. If not someone else dies. If he touches them even after the one minute it makes them dead again. He touched his dog as a boy and found out he had the powers. So when his Mom died he touched her and brought her back - killing Chucks Dad (she doesn't know). Then that night when his Mom went to kiss him goodnight he killed her again. That is why he pets his dog with a stick.
because he found her dead then used his power to make her alive again and if he touches her again his power will make her die because his first touch is life

He can make the dead alive with his first touch, but if he touches them again, they will die, and he won't be able to bring them back again.
he has a gift he can touch a dead person and bring them back to life for 60 seconds then he has to touch them again to return them to being dead. if he does NOT touch them and re-dead them then someone else has to die in their place. so when he touched chuck she came back to life, so if he touches her again she will die for good.
If he touches her again she dies and he wants her back in his life so he has to have something inbetween them at all times....
