Question: This has to be a dream! They can't kill all the main characters! ie... Emily, Carly (looked like that was Johnny who grabbed her), Jason & Liz... Are they trying to end GH?

thank you!! that is what i said i honestly do think that johnny grabbed carly and killed emily...but everybody is so dead against it...but i think it is him....i mean did u see that look that he gave Lulu when spanelli told her that Emily had been strangled??? And how else would Johnny have cut his hand???
And your right they cannot kill off main characters.....If jason dies i will be so upset omg...i would never watch the show again

you know how this stuff works hon.... what they decide is that they have too many people on the weekly payroll. So they start knocking them off fast. The only problem with this way of cutting costs is: they HIRE NEW ACTORS for the show again.
And the other problem is: if they kill off the characters we like, we might stop watching.
I really don't think of Emily, Carly, Jason or Liz as main characters: Luke, Tracy, Lucky, Lulu, Robin , Ned, Edward and the others connected to the main families : Spencer, Quartermain (Jason long ago became "Morgan" and useless), Hardy and Baldwin are the main characters
Emily is the one one of the main charcters who will die, the others will survive. She wanted to leave the show and they did not want to recast her because it would not be Em and Nik anymore.
Carly's not dead trust me and I don't think it's Jonny who strangled her. Also i don't think of Emily as a main character now if they killed off Luke or Sonny(who i believe is the show) then i'd definately stop watching.
I am sure there is going to be a big twist to all this. I can see the odd character getting killed off now and again. But I certainly don't think they'd be stupid enough to kill off a whole bunch of them at once. They'd have no show left. Is it a dream - at this point who knows - but I would bet my life there is going to be a big twist.
It's a soap, there are no main characters. There are simply characters who get too much airtime, but the show can easily survive without them. The whole point of a soap opera is that it doesn't revolve around a small cast.
I agree. Emily was definitely a main character. Non main characters are people like Johnny. Anyway, so far the story line is heating up as far as drama, but I dont like all these main characters dying in one night. I mean, dang is Luke supposed to die too. I've heard that Emily is going to haunt Nikolas for a while, so she will be around like Alan, until like May.
I don't think Carly will be killed. It was Cooper that grabbed her. Think about it Johnny is with Lulu and Cooper disappeared. Jason and Liz won't be killed, some one will find them and stop Anthony.
Emily isn't really a main character. She's the best friend,sister and girlfriend. Carly,like her of not,is a main character and will not die.
