Question: Okay so we have established that the possibility that Coop and Brenda are related and that could be the reason behind the murders if he is the murderer. But everyone is so quick to say Brenda is too young to be Coops mother! Hello! Rapid soap aging. It does happen. They have nooo regard to age.
Ex: A couple of weeks ago Soapnet aired Nick and Emily's wedding on a Sunday night. Dylan, Georgie, and Maxie were all in attendance. AS TEENS/YOUNG ADULTS. Lulu was like a 9 YEAR OLD flower girl!!!!. Seriously?
So isn't possible Brenda COULD be Coop's mom???

No,no,no,no,NO! Not Brenda! Coop is the son of Brenda's older sister Julia, & Ned Ashton!!!
That would make Brenda his Aunt, Dylan his Uncle, Tracy his "Granny", Ned's daughter Booke Lynn, his half-sister.
RMG is right. Soap Opera Rapid aging works when the parent looks old enough but if they bring back Vanessa or even if the new role that Sarah Brown has signed for turns out to be Brenda , Cooper looks to old.
Further it would be a shame to write Brenda's son into to the show just to have to write him out as a killer. BTW I feel the same way if Cooper turns out to be Julia and Ned's Son. The last thing we need is another Quatermain leaving
It is possible. But a long time ago, I read that Julia(Brenda's sister) and AJ are Coop's parents. I read this on Coop's wikpedia page but it doesn't say this anymore, So I don't know what's going on.
I think that they will be related somehow but I don't think she is his mom. I think R.M.G. is right. Coop is Brenda's nephew.
What about Brenda's sister (whose name I can't remember). She's a Barret too and I believe she was older than Brenda.
