Project Runway tonight?!
Question: Did anyone see the part where Jack selects Ricky's model and then Ricky gets kind of upset in his confessional? Was I mistaken or didn't Ricky say in episode 2 when he took someone else's model that he didn't care what people thought about it, that it was a competition and he was there to win?
Plus, what do you think about Chris being eliminated? I'm not sure why, except maybe the bigger sin was having a collection that was neither cohesive nor modern versus Ricky's team which the judges said had some cohesiveness but the problem was with construction and fit? I guess that even though I like Ricky I thought two weeks of poorly constructed garments should have sent him home. Does anyone have any theories as to why Chris was sent home versus Ricky?

Yeah--I found that a little snooty. I mean, come on. This is a flipping reality show. It's every man for himself.
In all honesty, Ricky is annoying but Chris wouldn't have lasted anyway. He's based in costume design, and that would have bitten him in the butt sooner or later.
Honestly it's dynamics. Chris wasn't as entertaining as Ricky. Remember that this is a reality show and while it IS based on fashion, it's also about keeping an audience. If you read the print after the show, it states that scores were based on the judges AND the producers' opinions.
LOL I just asked a similar question. I really liked Ricky at first. That dress he made the first day with the strips although simple was very impressive. What has happened to that kind of tailor ship?
I really was screaming for Ricky to go home.... He has been in the bottom 3 weeks now. I liked Chris but he picked a hard outdated fashion to do...I can't imagine a way to incorparate shoulder pads into something modern.
I loved the winning teams designs. they were very cohesive and looked like they belonged on a runway. Only 7 more days til the next episode!
...because Victorya is the one who should have been auf'd, but for some reason she's been a favorite of the judges yet I think they didn't want to punish Ricky in order to keep her so Chris was eliminated. It was unfair.
I was sooooooo tired of hearing the word cohesive I couldve cut my ears off. But anyway, The whole collection from Ricky and his team was awful. So,he shouldve been kicked off. But yea, the winners of that challenge,theyre collection was stunning....and plus they had 2 of the hottest guys on their team..not that it matters,lol
