Which Kid Nation kid's parent decided to sue CBS?!

And strangely enough she is suing because her daughter decided to fry potatoes and SELL them to the other children and during the process was splattered by grease.
If you watch the show you may remember Divad saying when it happened that it was " no big deal " and that she was not hurt.
In fact she did receive immediate medical attention off camera by the Dr's and Medical Team that were there behind the scenes.
Any children that were hurt were taken to the hospital immediately for a medical checkup.
I have to wonder if the mother is suing because Divad never won a Gold Star and this Lawsuit is her way of cashing in.
I think it is sad that she is the one who started the whole controversy over the show. And when I saw the episode in question and how it happened meaning Divad didn't need to be frying the potatoes she was doing it to make MONEY, it just seemed really unfair.
They may cancel the show because of the controversy this woman has caused. It did not seem that Divad was a victim of child abuse to me.

If I remember correctly none of the parents sued. The state sued the show for violating child labor laws and negligence.

OMG.. are you serious? Divad's mother needs to reread the agreement she signed in order for the child to be on the show. Suing for a little grease splatter. Sheesh!
i do not know but i really do not like that 12 year old drama queen brat from georgia......man i thought i was going to kill her on that one episode when she did not want to read
