OLTL Marty Saybrooke?!
Question: why doesn't anyone like marty saybrooke (christina chambers)? i thought she was a good actress, but now i hear everyone saying that she sucked, and that the old actress might come back.. why?

I really liked her...It took me a little while to get use to her but, that is the same with all actresses or actors that take over a role that someone else originated. No person compares to the first. The old actress is coming back from what I've heard. not really sure why! I really liked the chemistry between her and john.
I personally did not like her, I always felt like she looked bored and her interactions with the other characters seemed forced.
I liked her (Christine)from the start. And I read that Michael E. (John McBain) said she was wonderful to work with. I hope Susan Haskell (original Marty) doesn't come back. So far she's not. She was annoying.....always the victim.
I personally did not like her. I don't think she was very convincing as an actress. There was some kind of poll that said 80% of viewers did not like her. Most people don't know bad acting when they see it. There's nothing wrong with C.Chambers. She was excellent as the nu-Marty, but non-pros failed to pick up on it. They're too critical. I thought she and John had great chemistry - and so did John (Michael Easton).
I personally didn't like her acting either. I don't think she was a good actress, but I've seen worse! When OLTL first said they were gonna bring back Marty, they were going ask Susan Haskell to take the roll back over - since she got pregnant, they had to recast.
