I think they were going to start airing the new season in January.
They are not showing them on NBC for now. CI has moved to USA, and SVU has moved to the UPN channel. I'm not sure of the original law and order. Check your local listings for times and channels.
On my TV, the original is on Fridays at 10:00 PM, NBC. Hope this helps!
