There was this demon called Shax that was the latest one that the Source had sent to kill the Charmed ones. He attacked Prue and Piper in the street and they managed to chase him away with their powers but the whole supernatural battle was caught on TV ... LIVE! Soon the Manor was staked out by FBI teams and by nutters. The sisters decided that time had to be reversed. Tempus, an upper level demon, controlled time. Phoebe and Leo went into the Underworld to speak to Tempus but while they were in the Underworld Leo can't hear if he was called. One of the nutters had a shot gun and shot Piper in the chest. Prue rushed her to the hospital but she died. Just then Tempus said that he would reverse time on one contition. That Phoebe turned over to the dark side. Phoebe agreed and time was reversed. Shax attacked again but this time in the Manor. He blasted Prue and Piper through a wall in the house. Leo had just come out from the Underworld and he only had enough power to save one sister. He saved Piper. Cole rescued Phoebe from the Underworld. This time the death was real. They couldn't turn back time again and Prue couldn't come back to live. It then goes on and Paige comes into the series.
