Why are reality dating shows so addicting?!
Question: Sometimes our own lives have no drama so we watch it on T.V. and besides it's funnier to see other people have problems...

They appeal to some of our baser instincts that result in addiction?

I, personally, refuse to watch any of that drivel. I have enough drivel to keep me occupied for, like two years, just watching the videos I've already recorded.
Because they make the real world seem so normal.
It makes you feel better about the drama or lack of drama that is going on in your life. Also, watching real people make fools of themselves is hilarious.
