TV shopping channels?!
Question: I've done the bulk of my Christmas shopping off Ideal World, Price Drop, Bid TV and Speed Auction TV., with mixed success. I've done this for years but never had a problem until this year. Only about 70% of the stuff ordered has been delivered. They've taken my money and getting refunds is like getting blood out of a stone. I shall not use these channels again nor will I ever say they are any good on these pages again. HOWEVER, QVC are very good. When stuff doesn't arrive, they are very quick with their refund.
What is the problem? Is it the couriers/delivery firms or the TV shopping channels themselves?
Anybody else had this problem?
I should add that some of these orders were placed at the end of OCTOBER!!!!!!!!!!

I reckon the basic problem is that QVC is a slick operation, the others are just poor relations who cannot get their act together and promise far more than they deliver in reality.
Why not approach your local CAB for a bit of help with kicking a few backsides? This may help, hope you get your issues sorted and a Very MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I too have bought without any problems but I did notice they changed their delivery agents which probably has a bearing on this
i tried them and it was quite good but getting refunds is like getting money back of the tax man . 1 other point is whatch the delivery charge you can end up spending more than on the high street????

iv never used those channels although i have used gems tv & price crash tv which are both very good
It might depend where you live and the size of your items. i shop with QVC and i have noticed that the smaller the item the quicker it arrives, but the longest i had to wait was 2 weeks and i live in Ireland..
my problem has been with the Iwoot ( I want one of those) website, i ordered a month ago , usually it comes very fast but i am still waiting and now it is too late to post them to people..........i think they are vic tims of their own sucess and can't keep up
I've only ever order things from QVC and had no problem with them, Price Drop have the worst reputation going for no deliveries and no refunds unless you hound the hell out of them, my friend ordered a gold chain from them last year, it never arrived yet it took her the best part of 3 months to get her money back.
