Question: In the season finale from last season he tried to kill himself in jail, but didn't succeed.
Now it's four years later, is he still in jail?

Yes, he is still in jail. At one point in the 1st episode I think it was, when Hailey was cleaning up after Nathan (all his beers and alcohol bottles), she referred to him as Dan, and Nathan said "Dan's in jail, and so am I."
Yeah, what the person ahead of me said. I'm guessing he'll still be a character, because on the credits, his name was listed as a main character... Even before Mouth's and Skills'.
Yes, he's still in jail for murder. He probably had to do more than 4yrs.
