John Ritter, comic genius?!
Question: Anybody else totally think that John Ritter was hilarious with physical comedy!? I recently got seasons one and two of Three's Company and have never laughed so hard!

Yes, he was very underrated. He could also pull off a serious role. Check out "Sling Blade" if you haven't seen it.
Yes he was a very animated comic and was very good looking. He had a great personality and I compare him to the talent of Jim Carey.
He is absolutley AWESOME!!! he is my Favorite actor!!! I was so sad when he passed :(.
Yes John Ritter was very talented; I loved both Problem Child Movies and also loved him in The Bad Santa, Sling Blade, and in Skin Deep. His role on 8 Simple Rules was great and as Jack Tripper he will never be forgotten.

I agree. It is a shame that Three's Company is considered so lowbrow. His work there matches up well with Dick Van Dyke's on his show.
The guy was a legend (rip) Threes company, Problem Child and a really funny movie he made where he was sucked into the tv! I think it was called Stay Tuned. If you want to see him at his finest, try and see Skin Deep........ Funny Funny Funny!

Yeah, he was famously funny for his comedic performances. But he was also a wonderful dramatic actor, he did spots on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, It, Law & Order SVU, and there were movies I've seen on Lifetime... he remains a great loss in the entertainment industry!!!
He was brilliant and he is sorely missed. There isn't anyone else like him and maybe there never will be.
He was a very talented comedian, I wouldn't go so far as calling him a genius. He was one of my favorite physical comedians in the 70s and 80s.
