it's been the #1 Rated usa soap for over 15 yrs now- it's not going to end soon--
if you mean in relationship to the Writer's union strike- many soaps are already using Non union writers --CBS is not going to get up the $$$$ Y&R makes for them
I hope it never ends. And why would it end when it is the highest rated soap too.
Well, with Lynn Marie Latham out of the picture, Y&R is sure to start picking up once they do some things with the writers, and hire a new official executive producer, so it won't end anytime soon. It sure was in danger of ending during Latham's reign.
It's a solid ratings and money earner for CBS. Not going to happen anytime soon.
